We’re happy to announce a relationship with another fantastic local business: Storehouse Tea!
Storehouse Tea is a local tea supplier that has been operating in Cleveland since 2007. While trying to reduce her caffeine intake, Paula Hershman found a void in the tea community: there were connoisseur teas with a high price tag to match, or low-quality bulk teas. So she set out to create the best of both worlds—premium organic, fair trade loose leaf teas that are still affordable enough for every day enjoyment.
Not only are Storehouse’s teas delicious and good for your health, but they’re also good for the community! Since 2015, they have been located in the Hildebrandt Building in Ohio City as part of a co-op of local artists and food artisans, in order to be close to both the vibrancy of downtown and refugee populations in need. Storehouse sources their teas from fair trade, organic, sustainable farms locally and internationally. In addition, Storehouse employs locals including refugees to small-batch hand blend and package their teas.
We are excited to be stocking a variety of their wonderful teas for you to drink in our café or brew at home.
